    Miracle Messages

Miracle Messages is an award-winning 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that rebuilds social support systems for our unhoused neighbors, primarily through family reunifications, a phone-based buddy system, and $500/month direct cash transfers. We offer a humane and effective way to help end homelessness: strengthen social supports, shatter stigmas, and empower people everywhere to get involved. We are on a mission to end relational poverty on the streets, and in the process, inspire people to embrace their unhoused neighbors not as problems to be solved, but as people to be loved.

    The Red Barn

The Red Barn, aptly named because we started in the adorable little red barn, opened in 2012 with just a horse, a barn, and a dream inspired by the vision of Anita Cowart to teach low-income children with disabilities to ride horses. No one could have guessed that there were so many children who needed horses and couldn’t work with them ANYWHERE else without a long wait! What started as a tiny family-run operation with one student quickly blossomed into a full-blown nonprofit, serving 100 kids a week with over 100 children on the waiting list. Through the generosity of donors, low-income children with disabilities are able to come to…

    Special Siblings

Siblings of children with special needs have special needs themselves.  Often, the special siblings will get a bigger share of attention as he/she requires more focus. Books for Bedtime

Books For Bedtime started as an idea in July, 2014. Meagan, 11 years old at the time, wanted to help others. Meagan has been volunteering since she was young, starting with donating to Toys For Tots when she was barely walking! With the support of her mom and grandparents, Meagan had the concept, name and mission within a few hours! That, of course, was the easy part. With the support of her grandparents, who completed the paperwork and paid for the licenses, Books For Bedtime became a licensed non-profit in Ohio on August 20, 2014. While we thought that the biggest concern with Books For Bedtime succeeding would…
